Chris is a late-diagnosed Autistic and ADHD (AuDHD) person with lived experience of mental health and eating disorder recovery. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a Graduate Certificate in Autism Studies, and is completing an Honours degree in Psychology. He is an autism researcher, Autism Connect advisor, and peer worker based in Brisbane, currently working across universities, NGOs, and public health settings. Chris will soon be commencing further study to become a psychologist and neurodiversity academic. He hopes to contribute to the field as a trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming therapist and assessor.

His research and advocacy have historically focused on autism and youth mental health, with a particular passion for supporting LGBTQ+ people. Chris is a member of the Born This Way Foundation Youth Advisory Board and has previously served as Wellbeing Director for the Australasian Council for Undergraduate Research Student Committee, and as a member of the Headspace Capalaba Youth Reference Group. He is excited to extend this work to include neurodiversity-focussed eating disorder advocacy, research, and training at EDNA.

Outside of work, Chris loves musicals, cats, and spending time with friends - usually through parallel play, mutual infodumping, and pebbling memes to one another.
