Focused on building neurodiversity-affirming, accessible, and inclusive eating disorder healthcare.
ABOUT US
Eating Disorders Neurodiversity Australia is a not-for-profit organisation whose board members are all neurodivergent (autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, synesthesia, giftedness, dyscalculia) with lived or living experience of an eating disorder. We all have different backgrounds, whether with regards to ethnicity, race, gender identity, body size, or profession, as we value intersectionality and the importance of inclusion, diversity, and fair lived experience-based representation.

As a neurodivergent-led organisation whose board members have lived or living experience of an eating disorder, we are passionate about advocating for better prevention efforts and systemic changes in clinical care for members of our underserved community. We believe this goal would be better achieved using participatory and co-design methods to ensure that the support needs of neurodivergent people are properly understood and addressed.

For those of you who are ANZAED members, you are welcome to join the Neurodiversity Special Interest Group.
